You go from sneaking in to the tanker to sneaking through the tanker to a boss fight that opens a door into the engine room to a shoot out to one of my favorite scenes in MGS history, the cargohold with all the marines and RAY while you're sneaking and snapping photos. The tanker chapter has diversity in its game play that deviates from MGS1 in a very progressive way. Those figures subvert expectations that crossings typically slow down during the winter but rise in the spring, making it hard to predict whether another. It even has MGS1 references like the Vulcan Raven statue. In may ways the tanker chapter is the idealized follow up to MGS1.
